With the Zoom integration, users will be able to easily convert their Bilimp Calendar meetings to Zoom meetings. After linking your Bilimp and Zoom accounts, you can create a Zoom meeting and bring the join url to the location field of a Bilimp Calendar meeting with just one click. Bilimp then sends this join url along with other meeting details to all participants via e-mail, sms, and app notifications.
1. Installation & Usage
After logging in to Bilimp, right click on a suitable time slot on the calendar and select “new appointment” option.
Type a subject for the appointment and change its type to “online”.
A new button named “Create Zoom Meeting” will appear along with join link and password fields. You can manually type these fields but we will use Create Zoom Meeting button to automatically fill them.
If this is the first time you use Create Zoom Meeting button a warning message will be displayed. This message tells us that we need to log in with our Zoom account and give the necessary authorization to Bilimp application so that it can create meetings on behalf of us.
After clicking the OK button, a new browser tab will be opened and you will be redirected to Zoom login page. On this page user is expected to authorize Bilimp application.
After a successful authorization you will be redirected back to the Bilimp application. The message tells us that we can continue from where we left.
So we get back to the new appointment form (which should still be available on the previous tab) and click to Create Zoom Meeting button again. Since we authorized, this time Bilimp will be able to create a Zoom meeting with the information on the form and fill in the join link and the password fields. Passwords are generated automatically and consist of 6 digits.
Upon saving the appointment form by clicking Invite Participants button, Bilimp will send the join link and password of the Zoom meeting along with other details to all participants via e-mail, sms, and app notifications.
Sign into your Zoom account in the upper right corner of the page. If you are already signed in, skip this step.
Click Manage in the upper right corner.
Click on Installed Apps on the left menu. Then scroll or search for Bilimp and click Uninstall.
3. Deauthorizing
After logging in to Bilimp, click My Profile button on upper right corner
Select App Integrations tab. Find the line with the vendor name “Zoom” and click delete on the upper left corner of the detail list.
After this step the data Bilimp stores to access Zoom application on behalf of you will be deleted permanently.
